2004 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

- Welcome members, guests, by President Steve Swenson, 43 members registered for the Conference.
Announcements: Lori De Frias had an emergency but sent the Treasurer’s report by Loomis.
- Lona Semeniuk moved and Audrey Nawrocky seconded the motion that the Agenda, as presented, be adopted. All in favour.
- Lona Semeniuk moved and Audrey Nawrocky seconded the adoption of the AGM Minutes, of May 29, 2003. All in favour.
- Area reports, in writing, were distributed, and attached. Moved by Carol Zubick and seconded by Lorrie Forde to adopt the Treasurer’s Report as presented. All in favour. Membership report presented by Lorrie Forde, attached.
- Possible Conference sites for 2005 may be: Painter’s Lodge, Campbell River, Harrison Hot Springs, Penticton or surrounding areas. The preferred site, by vote, is Painter’s Lodge, Campbell River. Alexandra Morley to check into this.
- No correspondence received.
- BCACEA & Continuing Education: are we providing a service? What kind? How can we increase our membership?
- Elections of the new Executive: Audrey Nawrocky, President; Kevin de Boyce, President Elect; Brenda Crocker, Treasurer; Daniela Leithman, Secretary. Executive appointments remain the same.
- Jo-Anne Yacheson facilitated games and awarded prizes.
At 1:30 pm Alida Boyd moved and Vi Brett seconded to adjourn the meeting.

*The Spy (the entertainment for Thursday night) is an exciting new age “whodonit” adventure…. It is based on ABC’s TV show, dubbed television’s smartest reality shows, The Mole. This adventure promises to be exciting and challenging for all its participants. By working as a team to complete a series of challenging physical and mental games, the players can earn team points for prizes that three people will eventually take home.
Please Note: Request for refunds before April 8, 2004 will have a 20% administration fee withheld. Requests for refunds April 9 – May 4, 2004 will have a 40% administration fee withheld.
