Lona Semeniuk thanked Lorrie Forde for all her work and contribution during her presidency.

Steve Swenson addressed the meeting by mentioning how senior administrators are now more supportive of Continuing Education (at least in Richmond). With these changing times CE plays a very important role. Check the website: www.bcacea.org for e-mail and contacts.

This is also a good time of year to invoice our membership - pay membership dues at the same time as the conference fees. Membership fee is $240/institution with a max of 7 people.

Steve's philosophy - the constitution is the job description of its representatives - to promote and coordinate the interests of Continuing Education in all its phases (Constitution attached). You will also find it on our website. Use the web to send messages and/or discussion, distribute information, etc. We will try to create links to other organizations. Review the points of the Constitution, focus our energies on those purposes.

Joanne Thomsen, Vernon agreed to host the 2003 Conference in Vernon.

Steve Swenson moved/Daniela Leithman seconded to adjourn the meeting, 2 pm.
